K, so a mother and two daughters come to NYC from London for vacation. Mother gets admitted to hospital with pneumonia. The doctor called child services and the two girls (ages 15 and 13) are taken to an orphanage. The real kicker is: the girls had their clothes taken and were issued jeans and tshirts. They were also told they couldn’t visit their mother at the hospital and were split up before being given a medical examination. They were asked if they were raped or abused. When she was told they couldn’t leave the orphanage she signed herself out of the hospital against doctors wishes and went to get her daughters. It should be noted she never gave permission for the medical or psyhcological examination of her daughters.
