SAAB stopped making new vehicles in April of this year after it had some rough times the previous month. GM spun the brand off and Spyker (now Swedish Automotive) provided financing at the last minute to keep the brand alive. RIP SAAB. Source: CNN

AT&T ends bid to acquire T-Mobile USA

AT&T finally gave up it’s bid to purchase T-Mobile USA after facing huge opposition from the FCC, DOJ, Sprint and others. It will take a $4 Billion charge during the 4th quarter of 2011.
